It didn' t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she' s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it' s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle' s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

***Author's note*** THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

My thoughts…

Where to begin with this one. I loved this book and it’s characters. The synopsis caught my attention and I couldn’t wait to get started reading it. It captured and held my attention from the beginning until the very end. I kept turning page after page to see what would happen next.

Speaking of… I really liked both Elle and Nico. In the beginning Elle is described as plain and boring. She lives a relatively safe life. She doesn’t take chances. Her life is on a straight and narrow path. That is until she meets Nico. He turns her world upside down upon meeting her. The attraction between these two upon meeting is electric. They were both very aware of each other from the beginning.

Nico is a MMA fighter. He has a perfectly ripped body along with lots of tattoos to boot. *swoon* In the sports world he is known as Nico “The Lady Killer” Hunter. He’s cocky and somewhat of a player. He’s used to getting want he wants and what he wants is Elle. The chemistry these two share is strong. I loved getting to know them.

The sexual scenes within Worth the Fight were HOT and well written. I had to fan myself several times while reading them. Ms Keeland did a great job of building the tension between these two and once they came together I wanted to shout “YES!!” from the rooftops lol

Overall, this was a great read. I’m giving it a strong four stars. Ms Keeland is a new to me author and I’m glad I decided to give her book a chance. I am really looking forward to reading more of her work in the future.

About Vi Keeland

Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn’t change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work. She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting New York Times & USA Today Best Selling smut author by night!

In 2013, she released four romance novels, including the first story in the new MMA Fighter series, Worth the Fight. Three more are planned for release in 2014. Her novels have appeared on the Top 5 lists of Amazon USA, UK, Canada and Barnes & Noble.
