My thoughts…

Ah I’ ve been waiting for this book for a while. I loved April Showers! It ended on a pretty big cliffhanger so I was happy that this story immediately picked up where it left off. If you’ ve read April Showers you will be happy to know what happens to Lukas. I know that was the first thing I needed to know.

While I enjoyed this one I don’ t think it was quite the book April Showers was. It sort of moved along smoothly until about 3/4 of a way through. Then there is a surprise revealed that I didn’ t see coming. That surprise is what made the entire book for me. I really didn’ t see it coming.

As with the first one there is quite a bit of playful banter within this one. I was LOL’ ing quite a bit. The playful banter between the characters was quite amusing.

The sexual content is comparable to adult mainstream. It’ s not explicit in nature.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. It was a fast read for me. I was able to read it all in one sitting. I kept turning page after page to see what would happen and how things would end for April. I can honestly say I’ m happy with the way things turned out.

I’ m keeping my fingers crossed that Ms Perrin will write more books in this series. I loved Brody, Lucy, and Lucas. I think it would be great to see them get their own books.
