He gave them a choice.

She took it.

He made her promise two years.

She should have known there was a catch.

My thoughts…

*WARNING: This book ends with a cliffhanger.*

I am so mad right now. Seriously. I stayed up ALL night reading this book. First I’ll start off by saying that the synopsis for this one is pretty vague so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Though this being a book by Claire Contreras I knew I had to read it. So…here’s why I’m mad. This book ends with a cliffhanger. Nowhere in the synopsis is there a note stating that this ends with a cliffhanger. It’s not marked on Goodreads as more than one book. Ugh! So frustrated right now!!! I don’t mind cliffhangers. I just like to be aware of them beforehand.

Okay. So… This book was freaking amazing. There are so many twists and turns. The suspense part of it is unbelievable. It’s like I was sucked into this book from the first page and couldn’t put it down. There wasn’t a time where I skimmed. It definitely kept me guessing as to what would happen next. I just loved this one.

The storyline was unique and the book was well written. I really liked the characters and enjoyed slipping into their world.

The sexual scenes in the first part of the book were really hot. About halfway through though things cooled a bit.

Overall, I loved this one. I’m still frustrated that it ended with an unexpected cliffhanger. I wish I would have known this. I would more than likely held off reading it until the second one was close to being released.
