Jessica Roth dumped her boyfriend, moved to New York and wanted desperately to start her new life off with a bang - a literal mind-blowing, soul-shaking night of pure, raw, memory making sex.
She thought her one time chance encounter with attorney, Nathan Moore, in a hotel room would become a jumping point for her exciting, single and adventurous life in the city.
One night turned into two, into four, and into more – always at the same place, always at the same time – no last names, no personal details, and absolutely no complications.
What Jessica doesn't count on is that in Nathan's world boundaries are made to be pushed.
He wanted her in ways he promised he never would. She wanted him in ways she couldn't admit.
When their lives ultimately collide outside the walls of the hotel room, Jessica is forced to face the truth about the only man who has ever made her pulse race and her body ache with unadulterated pleasure.
I’m on a serial kick right now. At first I didn’t really care for them, but the Reasonable Doubt serial got me interested in reading them so I decided to give them another shot.
Pulse offers an intriguing storyline and for the most part I liked this one. I wasn’t really into Nathan in the beginning, but I’ve slowly come around. I liked Jessica aka Jess right off the bat. I found her to be a pretty interesting character. Her friend Rebecca was interesting as well. Hoping *fingers crossed* that maybe the author might write a series for her too. Guess I’ll have to wait and see.
The sex is really hot and plentiful. It’s enjoyable to read and will have you fanning yourself. 😛
Pulse of course ends on a cliffhanger. I was able to figure out what was going happen a little bit before all was revealed. As far as cliffhangers go this one offers a pretty good one. I’m immediately starting part two next. I can’t wait to see what happens between Nathan & Jessica.
