review

My thoughts…

I have been so excited about the release of this book. The Devil’ s Contract ended on such a huge cliffhanger. I mean huge. If you read the review I posted for it then you may remember that I was a bit upset with the fact that the book ended with a cliffhanger and that as a reader I had no prior knowledge of the fact that there would be a book two and it sorta pissed me off. Sorry Claire!

Anyway, now that I’ ve read The Sinner’ s Bargain I can honestly say that it was definitely worth the wait. There are so many characters that play a part in the overall story besides Colin and Amara. Some I liked, while others not so much. Throughout it all though, I loved, loved, loved Colin. Even though at times he could be an ass I loved how much he loved Amara.

There are so many things going on within the pages of this story. I found great pleasure in trying to figure out what would happen. Most of the time I wasn’ t quite sure who Amara could trust. All of the characters seemed suspect. I think it was because of this that it made this story that much more enjoyable. Ms Contreras will keep you guessing. You continually try to figure out how it’ s all going to end. And when the end gets here you might be very surprised at how things turn out.

The sex is back full force in this book. Colin and Amara scorch up the sheets. The sex scenes are hot, plentiful and well written.

Overall, I loved both of these books. I can see myself reading them again in the future. I’ m not sure what’ s up for Ms Contreras, but I’ m really looking forward to reading her next book.
