When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.

Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.

THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. The first three books in the series need not be read to enjoy this book. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

reviewMy review:

I absolutely loved this story. It’s a beautiful love story about a 23 year old man who lost his immediate family at a young age and a woman who left her hometown after her father was killed. From the very beginning I was captivated by this book. It captured and held my attention until the very end.

I loved both Archer and Bree. I thought they made a beautiful couple and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow. Having grown up the way he did, Archer, is very inexperienced in relationships with others. Needless to say he’s never had a romantic relationship. I liked how Bree was able to draw him out of his shell.

I’m not sure if I’ve read a story where the hero is unable to talk. I think that element made the story that much more intriguing. It was a little different to read a story where the main characters communicate via sign language. I’ll admit at first I wasn’t sure how that would workout reading the story, but I can honestly say that I didn’t have any problems following along.

The sexual scenes within this one were hot and well written. They were also plentiful. I had to fan myself a couple times while reading it.

Overall, this book was amazing. I loved so much!! I really hope you’ll give Archer’s Voice a try.
