“Until now, I’ve never loved anyone except Aurora. It’s more than his music, more than even the smell of his skin. More than the way his body is like a magnet calling all the iron in my blood. He’s a drug that’s hooked me on the very first trip. “   Do you remember the hard, black, book sized  journals you had to keep in high-school if you were in photography or […]

ARC Review: Facade (The Games Series #2) by Nyrae Dawn

I started this book not even knowing it was a sequel. I didn’t find out until about halfway through that it was book 2 in a series and I only found out because I was looking at it on Goodreads and saw that it was apart of the Game series. So that, I think, is a good thing about this book: You can read it without having read the first book, Charade, in the series. […]

This book was highly entertaining! It had me laughing non-stop. It also gave me some food for thought on any future break-ups, including some Steps/Rules that maybe we should all remember to follow in the future concerning possible new relationships, break ups or life in general. 😉 This was a light, funny read and I really enjoyed it. I’m glad I was given the opportunity to read and review it. 😉

OH H-O-L-Y CRAP. So Obsession came out on Friday (5/31), but I was lucky enough to win an ARC from the Publisher the night before so I got an early start on my reading!! This book was a great way to hold us ADULT fans of the LUX series over until the release of Origin. When I found out that JLA was releasing an adult book from the LUX universe I got super excited!! I […]

ARC Review: Fire Inside by Kristen Ashley

Another great book from Kristen Ashley! Kristen Ashley is an amazing author who gets the best of my emotions every time and Fire Inside was no exception. She put me and my emotions through the ringer with this book. Alright, let’s get down to it: It took a bit for me to like Lanie AND Hop. With Hop, if you’ve read Motorcycle Man, we all know why I wasn’t looking forward to a story about […]

My thoughts… Going into this book I knew that Drew Evans was arrogant and a womanizer. What I didn’t know upon reading this was the fact that he’s also a first class prick. To be honest I didn’t really care for the guy to begin with. He was very demeaning towards women. He basically treated them as if they held absolutely no value other than to service him and his sexual needs. Having said those […]

Review: Under Your Spell by Shiloh Walker

My thoughts… When I saw this book come up for review I found myself jumping for joy. Shiloh Walker is within the top 5 of my favorite authors. Her stories are creative and draw you in from the beginning. Her characters are well developed and I find myself wanting to learn all about them. The first couple of chapters of this story go into detail of how Nicholas and Aislinn meet and fall in love. […]
