A fallen boxer.
A woman with a broken dream.
A competition…

He even makes me forget my name. One night was all it took, and I forgot everything and anything except the sexy fighter in the ring who sets my mind ablaze and my body on fire with wanting…

Remington Tate is the strongest, most confusing man I' ve ever met in my life.

He' s the star of the dangerous underground fighting circuit, and I' m drawn to him as I' ve never been drawn to anything in my life. I forget who I am, what I want, with just one look from him. When he' s near, I need to remind myself that I am strong–but he is stronger. And now it' s my job to keep his body working like a perfect machine, his taut muscles primed and ready to break the bones of his next opponents . . .

But the one he' s most threatening to, now, is me.

I want him. I want him without fear. Without reservations.

If only I knew for sure what it is that he wants from me?

My thoughts…

I’ve heard many things about this book. Some of my fellow readers are going wild for Remington “Riptide” Tate. There’s even a Facebook Group centered around him and the other characters within the book.

My first impression of Remy was that he is cocky. I mean really cocky. When Remy and Brooke first meet things are a little bit awkward to me but for the most part was believable. I liked the connection between the two and enjoyed watching their relationship grow. They both have issues they are dealing with, but together they seem to fit well.

Not to give away any spoilers, but it’s mentioned that Remy suffers from Bipolar Disorder. While some of the issues he goes through are part of what a person with Bipolar goes through. There were other issues he dealt with that I’ve never heard of being related to Bipolar Disorder. This does not in any way take away from the story. Just something that I noticed.

The sexual tension between these two is off the charts. Ms Evans wrote several steamy scenes between the two and at times I thought I was going to spontaneously combust.

The storyline was really good. I experienced all sorts of emotions while reading this book. I laughed. I fanned myself. (lol) I cried. I mean really cried. REAL is definitely highly emotional. From it’s high to lows, it’s ups and downs this story will keep you entranced. You’ll be turning page after page to find out what happens next.

REAL is the first book in the Real, Raw & Ripped series. The second book which is entitled MINE is due out sometime in June. I’m really looking forward to reading it.

If you’re a fan of bad boys then might I suggest you read REAL. It’s truly a great read.

About Katy Evans

Katy Evans grew up with books and book-boyfriends until she found a real sexy boyfriend to love. They married and are now hard at work on their own happily ever after. Katy loves her family and friends, and she also loves reading, walking, baking, and being consumed by her characters until she reaches “The End.” Which is, hopefully, only the beginning
