Book 1 in The Epicurean series, A Taste of You will leave you ravenous for more of Cat and William' s story!

My thoughts…

A Taste of You is the debut novel from Author Sorcha Grace. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this one, but I’m glad I decided to give it a try.

Catherine. I liked Catherine aka Cat from the beginning. I felt she got dealt a bad hand in life before moving to Chicago and I could understand her reluctance to start a new relationship.

William. To be honest I didn’t really care for him in the beginning. I thought he was a bit of a bully. He’s blunt, arrogant, and ran hot and cold most of the book. He’s also a billionaire so yep you guessed it he’s a man who’s used to getting his way and doesn’t take no for an answer. I sort of had a love / hate relationship with him, but by the end I was able to see exactly why he acted certain ways and I came to love him. Besides he’s tall, dark and sexy as all get out. With his stormy grey eyes that tend to change color depending on his mood. *swoon*

The chemistry between Cat & William was electric from the beginning. It was like they were drawn together and meant for each other even though it was a bumpy ride for them throughout the book. Sometimes the way he treated Cat seemed almost cruel. Thus one of the reasons I didn’t care for him at first. Hot and cold I tell ya.

I enjoyed almost every aspect of this story, but here’s what didn’t work for me. William knew Catherine’s dress, bra and shoe size after three brief encounters. Not so realistic. It’s not a big deal, but I found it sort of odd. It didn’t take away from the story in any way. I’m just big on stories being believable, realistic.

A Taste of You has sort of has a Pretty Woman vibe to it. Pretty Woman was actually mentioned within the book. It seemed at times that I was experiencing Déjà vu in one way or another.

Let me tell you about the sex scenes in this book. They were H-O-T x 100 and were very well written. I had to fan myself several times.

Overall I really enjoyed reading this one. It was a great read and it kept my attention throughout the entire story. I think Ms Grace did an excellent job writing it. I can honestly tell you that I will be reading more of her work in the future. I’m definitely going to be patiently err… not so patiently be waiting for the release of the next book. I’m not sure what the name or release date for the next book will be, but I am so hoping it will be won’t be too far into the future.

If I had to describe A Taste of You in one word it would be Delicious.
