Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster.

Can you love someone too much?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it' s time to see the story through Travis' s eyes.

My thoughts…

I’m a fan of reading the heroes POV in stories. I like to experience how they perceived things. I loved Travis Maddox in Beautiful Disaster so I knew that I needed to read his story. I’m happy that I did. I really enjoyed it. I think the author did a great job writing this companion novel. I didn’t grow bored with it. I didn’t find myself skimming. It captured and held my attention from the beginning until the very end.

Although the story is the same it’s written from a different perspective. I can say that at times I think Travis acted a bit crazy. He wanted Abby so bad, but didn’t think he deserved to have her. He didn’t think he was good enough for her. Even though he thought that way he was a bit selfish. He didn’t want anyone else to have her either. It was interesting to get his reactions on how things happened. When he fell for Abby he fell hard.

Overall, I’m glad I took the time to read this novel. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It would be awesome is Ms McGuire would write a book for each of Travis’s brothers.
