Sometimes discovering the truth can leave you more hopeless than believing the lies…
That' s what seventeen-year-old Sky realizes after she meets Dean Holder. A guy with a reputation that rivals her own and an uncanny ability to invoke feelings in her she' s never had before. He terrifies her and captivates her all in the span of just one encounter, and something about the way he makes her feel sparks buried memories from a past she wishes could just stay buried.
Sky struggles to keep him at a distance knowing he' s nothing but trouble, but Holder insists on learning everything about her. After finally caving to his unwavering pursuit, Sky soon finds that Holder isn' t at all who he' s been claiming to be. When the secrets he' s been keeping are finally revealed, every single facet of Sky' s life will change forever.
My thoughts…
Have you ever read a story that draws you in from the very beginning? One where you can’t put it down because you can’t wait to find out what happens next? This is what Hopeless did for me. I literally couldn’t stop reading it.
I love, love, love this story. So much! There was never a time where I lost interest or started skimming while reading it. It kept me captivated from beginning to end.
Hopeless is an emotional story about a girl whose adopted at a very young age. She befriends Dean Holder aka Holder who is without a doubt amazing. I liked everything about him. He’s definitely swoon worthy. The chemistry between Holder and Sky is apparent from the beginning. They sort of start off on a rocky road but soon start to form a strong bond.
I’m giving Hopeless a rating of 5+ stars and a definite recommended read. I can’t begin to articulate how good this story is. I will be recommending it to all of my friends and in the future will be reading it over and over again.
This has been on my kindle forever now. I should def read it one day soon.
Hopeless was my Top Pick for 2012. Absolutely loved it!
