Unforgettable passion . . .

Two months have passed since Karina's painful departure from James, the mysterious lover who awakened her darkest desires, and she'll do anything-anything-to locate him and win him back. Her search takes her to London, where she finds herself immersed in the world of fine art and forbidden pleasures. And soon, Karina meets another enigmatic man who promises to help her find James . . . for a price.

Unexpected pleasure . . .

Damon George is rich, gorgeous, and a member of a secret society that caters to the sensual thrills of the wealthy and powerful. Though Karina insists her heart will always belong to James, Damon is determined to have her, body and soul. By the time she finds James, Karina has been "trained" to please another. Will James reject her again . . . or find her more irresistible than ever?

reviewMy thoughts…

This book picks up where book one left off with Karina in London. As she searches for James she discovers a secret society that caters to the sensual thrills of the wealthy and powerful. (see synopsis) Here she meets Damon George. I’ m just going to come out and say it right off the bat. I REALLY liked Damon. He’ s wealthy, good looking, and he goes after what he wants. And what he wants is Karina. *sigh*

Karina on the other hands wants James. She’ ll do anything to find him. Well almost anything. Once Karina is accepted into the secret society she does things with other men. Particularly with Damon. She doesn’ t have intercourse with him, but she does participate in certain sexual acts. I can understand that for the sake of the overall storyline these acts needed to be written in. But I do feel as though she was cheating on James.

The majority of this book Karina is searching for James. There are twists and turns along the way that certainly kept the story interesting. I kept turning page after page to see what would happen next. Once I reached that last portion of the story things started coming together and then BAM shocker. Now I knew there was going to be a book three. I just wasn’ t prepared for the ending of this one. Now I find myself wanting book three like now. I don’ t want to wait to see how things will end up for these characters. I have to know now. 0.O

Unfortunately I’ m going to have to wait until August 26th. That’ s when book three entitled Slow Satisfaction is scheduled to be released.

Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot. I think it’ s a great addition to the series.
