This year, I’ve decided to join a ”Reading Challenge”, and my challenge of choice is the 2015 Historical Fiction Reading Challenge hosted by the lovely blog, Passages to the Past.
I read a good amount of Historical Fiction and Historical Biography outside of the Young Adult/Adult Fiction I usually blog about, and I decided this year I want to blog about EVERYTHING I read that I feel inspired to share my views on. I’m an eclectic reader and I want that to be reflected on this site. After all, our policies do state THIS.
The Historical Fiction Reading Challenge includes all sub-genres of HF (Romance, Fantasy, Mystery, etc.).
KINGS, QUEENS, and FLAPPERS! OH, MY!
I read from multiple eras in history, so-
MY GOAL is to read 20+ Historical Fiction/Biography books this year.
I know I’m cheating a little by adding in the Biography part, but rules are meant to be broken, right?
If you’re a Historical Fiction enthusiast and would like to join the challenge, please do! And leave me a line in the comments section of this post to let me know if you’ve joined so I can be sure to visit your blog. You can find the rules of this challenge by clicking on the HFRC 2015 image at the top of this page.
If you would like to participate in this challenge but are not familiar with any Historical Fiction authors or don’t know where to start, leave a comment or message me for some recs. Happy Reading!
