My thoughts… At only fifty pages this is a really quick read. While it’s enjoyable, I don’t think it’s a necessary read. This one felt more like a filler. My thoughts… Cupcakes and Ink is a novella written as a prequel to Clipped Wings. I only discovered it after I finished reading book one. While I wouldn’t say it’s mandatory you read it before book one, it does give you some insight of how things started out between the main characters.
