So this is novella two in the new Proposition series by H.M. Ward. I’ m not quite sure how I feel about this series. The first novella was interesting and held my attention until the very end, but this one I found myself sort of skimming. There just didn’ t seem to be much going on with the characters. There was a little bit of a suspense element added to this one towards the end that I think could be really good in upcoming novellas.
While I liked both novella one and this one I honestly don’ t think I will continue to read the series. These installments only contain about 100 pages and I feel that just really isn’ t enough time to build the story up. Just when things start to get really intriguing the story ends on a cliffhanger. I think I’ d rather just read a full length novel than a series of novella.
