Trust betrayed... Michael: He's still having flashbacks of his escape from the underground compound. Only Cameron, the mysterious girl he met behind bars, seems to understand him -- and realize that the sheriff may be gone but an even more dangerous enemy is out there....
Cameron: She fell for Michael while in the compound...spying on him for Sheriff Valenti. Now she feels guilty, and wishes she could tell him the truth. But how can she be honest -- without losing Michael?
In The Stowaway (Roswell High #6), despite the fact that A LOT of serious life-and-death stuff is going on, I can’t get over how frustrated I am with Michael and Isabel from book #5. They still prove to be frustrating in book #6! At the end of book #5, our Roswell group has narrowly escaped with their lives after infiltrating the Project Clean Slate underground facilities to free Michael. Little did they know, they would be helping Cameron, Michael’s new love interest, escape as well.
The sinister vibes that Adam, our newly discovered alien-hybrid, started to give off in book #5, come out full force when he comes face to face with Sheriff Valenti during Michael’s rescue. Once the smoke clears from the groups rescue mission, they all have new things to worry about. How can they keep Adam from turning on them? How can Maria make Michael choose between her and Isabel if a third person is thrown into the mix?
I loved the surprise twist that is thrown into The Stowaway. It’s this ”surprise” that sends Max, Liz, Michael, Maria, Isabel, Alex, and Adam on a whole new adventure, that will once again test the limit’s of their power, and reveal a whole new level of Max’s newly acquired powers. I didn’t really like Cameron’s role in this book, but she proves to be helpful at the end. The Stowaway is the most action packed book yet in the Roswell High series. It was fun to see how certain elements of this book were used in season 3 of the Roswell show. For those of you who have read the books, do you know what certain things I’m talking about? 🙂
