THE STORY YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW...

When Kyle Calloway died, he took a part of Nell with him. She wasn' t the only one left to pick up the pieces, however; Kyle' s death left a gaping hole in the hearts and lives of his parents and his older brother Colton, and ultimately broke the will of the girl he loved.

THE STORY YOU NEVER IMAGINED...

Becca de Rosa is Nell' s best friend. When Kyle died, Nell was so devastated that no one could reach her, not even her best friend Becca. As she tries to help Nell through her grief, Becca' s own life is thrust into turmoil, and everything she knows is changed.

Jason Dorsey asked Nell out the week after her sixteenth birthday, but that date never happened. Instead, he ended up going out with Nell' s best friend, Becca. He had no way of knowing, then, how that one date would send him on a life-long journey with Becca. He had no way of knowing the tragedies and triumphs he would experience, or that in Becca, he might find the love of a lifetime.

THE HEARTACHE YOU' LL NEVER FORGET...

My thoughts…

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. I loved this book. At first I was a little worried that this book wouldn’t live up to the first book. Sometimes that happens. The more I read though, the more I learned that Falling Into Us is just as amazing as book one.

The story is told from both Jason & Becca’s POV. Both are secondary characters in the first book entitled Falling Into You. I loved getting to know both of them.

My heart broke for Jason and the life he was subjected to at the hands of his father. He seemed like such a great kid in the first part of the book who went on to grow into a great young man. One who stood by Becca’s side throughout the story and always loved and protected her.

Becca. I really liked her. Her parents were very strict with her. She wasn’t allowed much free time for herself. Everything was centered on her school work and achieving her academic goals. Her father was very controlling and I really didn’t care for him.

This story is highly emotional. You get to experience what it was like for Becca & Jason to fall in love, how they had deal with the loss of a beloved friend, and grow into two amazing young adults.

The sexual scenes started out sweet, gentle and loving. Both Becca & Jason were under the age of 18 when they first started having sex and I think the scenes needed to be written the way they were. Later on though…Hot, Hot, Hot. Explicit. Ripping each others clothes off and going at it again and again. Just what you’d expect a young couple to do.

Falling Into Us offers a twist within the story. One that I did not so coming and it totally shocked me, but I understand why it was added. It was an integral part of the story.

Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this two book series. I don’t think Ms Wilder could have ended things any better than the way she did. I’m very pleased with the outcome and how thing worked out for Becca, Jason as well as Nell & Colton.

I will definitely be reading this series again in the future. If you haven’t given this one a try you don’t know what you’re missing. There’s a reason book one hit the NY Times bestsellers list. I have a feeling Falling Into Us will become a bestseller as well. Again, these books are truly amazing.

Well done, Ms Wilder. You’ve made a fan for life.
