My thoughts.. Oh, where to start. Kasie. She’s the kind of girl any parents would be proud of. She’s not a risk taker. She dresses conservatively. She has the perfect boyfriend or so she thinks. Her life in a nutshell can be described as plain, boring and relatively safe. When she and her BFF head to Vegas, her friend suggests Kasie sleep with a stranger. Enter Robert Dade. Wealthy, sexy, charming, and dangerous. A man […]

STOP! This review contains spoilers regarding Perfect Chemistry, Book One. If you haven’t yet read Perfect Chemistry you may not want to continue reading. My thoughts… Rules of Attraction is the second book in the “Perfect Chemistry” series by author Simone Elkeles. While I enjoyed this story, I felt it was lacking a bit. I had a hard time getting into it at first. That’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy it because I […]

My thoughts… What an great story. Perfect Chemistry is the first book in the Perfect Chemistry series by Author Simone Elkeles. I’ve never read a story by her before so I had no expectations going into the book. I loved both Brittany and Alex from the beginning. Brittany has the best of everything but she’s tired of trying to be the perfect person her mother wants her to be all the time. She wants to […]

My thoughts… I Choose You is the second book in Author Bethany Lopez’s “Friends & Lovers” series. I really enjoyed reading it. I think what I enjoyed most about it is the fact that Nicole still had her innocence and it was nice to read a story that wasn’t overly sexual. I’m not saying there isn’t any sexual content because there is some but I was pleased that it wasn’t the main focus of the […]

My thoughts… Have you ever read a story that draws you in from the very beginning? One where you can’t put it down because you can’t wait to find out what happens next? This is what Hopeless did for me. I literally couldn’t stop reading it. I love, love, love this story. So much! There was never a time where I lost interest or started skimming while reading it. It kept me captivated from beginning […]

My thoughts… I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this story. I had heard it was another “Twilight Fan Fiction” but I also heard it was funny and an overall great story. While I’ll agree it was funny to a certain extent, it wasn’t overly so. The premise is great. I enjoyed getting to know Caroline and her BFF’s. I could definitely relate to some of their banter. Getting to know Simon was also […]

My thoughts… From Ashes is the second book by Author Molly McAdams. After having read Taking Chances a short time ago, I was really excited to read this one. While I enjoyed reading From Ashes, I feel it was too long and some scenes should have been omitted via editing. The premise was quite good and the characters were realistic, but I found myself skimming through quite a bit of it. Would I read it […]

My thoughts… What can I say that will make you want to read this book? I could say that it stands out from most Young Adult books I have read because it is not your typical love story. Although there is a love story found within these pages, there is in fact so much more. The Fault in Our Stars is about a young girl whose 16 years old. Her name is Hazel and she […]

My thoughts… Where to begin? I loved this book. As with all the books in the Wild Riders series it was a very good read. Teresa and AJ grew up together and were childhood sweethearts. On her 18th birthday, AJ leaves town because he’s on the road to being a criminal and doesn’t want to mess up Teresa’s life. Fast forward several years, AJ and Pax are undercover operatives for a government agency call the […]

My thoughts… I found What A boy Wants to be quite entertaining. Several scenes made me chuckle. It’s a relatively sweet story from the leading males POV. Sebastian has a blog where he’s known as The Hook-Up Doctor. For a fee he will help you snag a guy your interested in. Although it’s a short read I enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to reading What a Boy Needs next.

Review: Under The Mistletoe by Jill Shalvis

My thoughts… Just in time for the holidays comes Under The Mistletoe. This novella length story is part of The Lucky Harbor series by Ms. Shalvis. Mia and Nick share a common bond. They were both given up at birth. Mia was adopted by a wonderful couple while Nick hadn’t been so lucky. I really enjoyed these two. They have great chemistry together. As the story progressed it was refreshing to see them overcome their […]

My thoughts… This is the first book in the Friends & Lovers series by Ms. Lopez. Although it’s a short read, I didn’t feel the story was rushed. I was able to read it in one setting. I loved Briana, Colin and the secondary characters. I can’t wait for “I Choose You” to be released on January 8th, 2013.

My thoughts… After reading a lof reviews I decided to read Collision Course. It started it off promising but after 100 pages or so I lost interest. I don’t DNF books very often but decided to stop reading this one. I have a few problems with the story and here’s what they are: 1) Up until the part I stopped at it seemed the story was just dragging along. I feel a lot of what […]

My thoughts… In one word, AMAZING! I loved everything about this book. Ms Shalvis has crafted what I would call the perfect story. The characters of the book were realistic, the plot was excellent and the story is well written. I loved Maddie Moore and her sisters. Not having spent a lot of time with her two half-sisters over the years, Maddie heads to the small town of Lucky-Harbor, Washington where she plans to claim […]

My thoughts… Miss Me Not is a tale of a young high school girl whose pretty much abandoned by her family because of a mistake she made when she was 13. She stumbles through life feeling she has nothing to live for. She hides behind baggy clothes and tries to fade into the background and be non-existent. She and her one and only friend James make a pact. They will both commit suicide together. Nobody […]
